The-Palms-18thSunday Mixed Golf

This Sunday’s Mixed Golf event will be played on The Palms golf course in a 12:30pm shotgun start. The day’s format will be a Modified Lone Ranger, a fun four-person team event, for which bookings are still available via the online tee sheet. The rules for this Sunday’s Mixed Golf are as follows:

Modified Lone Ranger
The Modified Lone Ranger is a four-player team event. On each hole, one player in each foursome is designated the “Lone Ranger.” That designation rotates throughout the round; for example, Player A has it on the first hole, B on the second, C on the third, D on the fourth, then back to A on the fifth and so on. For a shotgun start Player A is still the Lone Ranger on holes 1, 5, 9, 13 and 17 on the course no matter which hole the group starts on. In Lone Ranger, three scores per hole are added together for the team score. One of those three scores must be from the Lone Ranger. So, on each hole, the team score will be the score of the player designated the Lone Ranger, plus the best two scores of the other three players on the team.

Following golf, enjoy Sunday Casual Dining in Lakeview Bar, as well as the Weekly Members’ Draw for a chance to win $800 dining credit. February’s Sunday Casual Dining offers a special a-la-carte menu, which is available from 5:30pm for $20 per person:
